  1. Bullies pick on those they perceive to be weaker.

    For thousands of years, the fact that women are (usually) less strong than men (physically) has made them the main go-to target for oppression.

    And a Fox “News” contributor recently said that the problem we have in the US is that women can vote. Someone I know from church (I hesitate to say friend in his case) is actually defending the “coincidence” of America’s decline and the 19th amendment.\

    He’s a Ron Paulite, of course, so the fact that it was post-suffrage that the US became a major world power rather than a moderate regional one doesn’t mean anything to him. I find that most open bigots are inclined toward Ron Paul at this point.
