Sarah Palin: I Was Mistreated So Hillary Should Be, Too

I knew this woman was one sandwich short of a picnic, but this is beyond the pale…

Liberaland

That is what Sarah Palin’s comments boil down to. Because she was victimized by the left (and, let’s face it, she is a professional victim) Hillary Clinton should get what she got. That’s the message she put out on her Facebook page.

“Hey! Hillary’s brain is off-limits! Leave her health records alone! Democrats are right – scouring records of a female candidate is just politics of personal destruction, and for the media to engage in it would be unfair, unethical, and absolutely UNPRECEDENTED. You can’t probe a woman like that because, well, it’s a war on women!

Bunch of sexist, big meanies engaging in something heretofore unheard of,  for shame.”

As proof that this isn’t the first time a (potential) female candidate’s health records have been mined for scandal, Palin posted links from POLITCO, Salon and elsewhere about the conspiracy theories surrounding her son Trig. During the 2008 election, rumors swirled that Palin’s youngest, who has Down syndrome, was actually Bristol Palin’s son…

So, just to be clear, Palin is still mad that liberals tried to “scour” her medical records in 2008. But instead of being angry with Rove and other conservatives for doing the same thing to Hillary Clinton, she’s fed up with Democrats for not recognizing the irony?

  1. That is like saying, ‘because Palin banged her thumb with a hammer then Hillary should too.’ In the words of Forrest Gump, “Stupid is as stupid does!”

  2. That must have been one of those things that I thought was too stupid to read about. I realized, who cares if the child is hers or he daughters. What does it have to do with what kind of leader she is. I still want her to tell us what she reads….

  3. They will come after her though. That’s why I’m not convinced Hillary is the best Democrat for the job. She’s got some vulnerabilities. Do we really want to re-live the Lewinsky affair? Republicans will go after every opening possible. I hope this won’t be like 1998 all over again…

    1. r-l-1 you have a point but, AT THIS TIME, it still appears that Hillary is the hands-down choice to beat anyone the Republicans might come up with..
In My Not So Humble Opinion (a.k.a. IMNSHO) I’m not sure that Joe Biden has enough ‘charisma’ for a clear win — although he is apparently well liked by the majority of American people.
We do have another well quailfied candidate who is hated by industry, banks and the GOP. I refer to Elizabeth Warren who has (in private) said she will NOT run IF Hillary runs.

  4. Hillary, at this point is a private citizen….. why should she show anything?…. HOWEVER, the day she states she is running, THEN her health, her record, her life is up for vetting?…..

They must be SO fearful that Clinton will run that we need to hear these petty remarks for 2 1/5 more yrs…. Ugh…..

    1. Jusy,
Fear is definitely the foundation of the Republican hate and distrust and lies toward Hillary. And they have so much of the past — over 20 years of it so far — to drw on.

  5. I think a candidate’s health is always a legitimate subject of inquiry, even if she/he is a thirty year old athlete.
But let them ask all the questions they want. The girl is “time enough for ‘em.”
