Dick Cheney makes surprise appearance at CPAC to chants of ‘Cheney! Cheney! Cheney!’

I just love it when the “conservatives” of the Conservative Political Action Committee cheer for Cheney, Palin, et al.   These people are on the wrong side of history and logic when it comes to putting this wonderful country of ours back on track.  In my opinion they actually help the agenda of the POTUS.

Hear/see what happened when Cheney made a suprised appearance to the CPAC Convention currently being held in Washington, DC:

Sidenote: In this case,  I do agree with Gov. Palin and Sen. Orrin Hatch when they suggested to “tea partiers” that they needed to choose a party from our two party system

Palin was said:

“Now the smart thing will be for independents who are such a part of this Tea Party movement to, I guess, kind of start picking a party,” Palin said. “Which party reflects how that smaller, smarter government steps to be taken? Which party will best fit you? And then because the Tea Party movement is not a party, and we have a two-party system, they’re going to have to pick a party and run one or the other: ‘R’ or ‘D’.”

Sen. Hatch said:

If we fractionalize the Republican Party, we are going to see more liberals elected,” Hatch warned a crowd of 300 at a town meeting at American Fork Junior High School on Wednesday night, amid jeers from Tea Party supporters.

Hatch blamed the Tea Party movement for the loss of Sen. Gordon Smith, a politically moderate but fiscally conservative Republican from Oregon.

Hatch said if the Tea Party had not backed a constitutionalist candidate in that race, Brown wouldn’t have lost to Democrat Jeff Merkley, whom Hatch described as “the most liberal senator,” by 45,000 votes
